About me

Susan Hoof is founder and President of Simply Moving, Inc.  providing moving management and organization.  She has experience in the Senior Housing Marketing area and specializes in assisting older adults and their families with the emotional and physical aspects that come with a move. 

What is a Senior Moving Specialist?

Moving is exciting at any age.  At Simply Moving, we understand the emotions of leaving your home of many years.  Decisions about what to take and what to give away, and what to sell are easier when a Senior Moving Specialist is at your side.  We’ll draw a floor plan to show you how your treasures will fit into your new home.  We are there throughout the entire process, answer questions and handle any surprises.

  • Ongoing contact with the family and vendors.  Problem solving, monitoring vendors and consideration of client’s timeline

  • Basic set up of bed, lamps, clocks and linens to assure your personal comfort from the first night in your new home

  • Unpacking Service

  • Unpacking boxes at your new home. Organizing the kitchen, linen closets and bathroom
